Scottish Cricket Union: last AGM?

 

 

 

The One Hundred and First Annual General Meeting of the Scottish Cricket Union will be held in Stirling County Cricket Club, New Williamfield, Royal Stuart Way, Stirling on Sunday 28 March 2010 at 1pm.

 

Clubs are entitled to send two representatives to the meeting. Personal Members of the Union are also entitled to attend, but are precluded from voting.

 

Among the usual items of business to be conducted at the meeting will be the following resolution that aims to tidy up the nomenclature of the various arms of the sport's governing body in Scotland:

"To approve the formation of Cricket Scotland Holdings Limited ("CSHL") as a company limited by guarantee (in accordance with Articles of Association to be approved by the Committee of the Scottish Cricket Union ("SCU"); to approve the transfer of the assets and liabilities to the newly formed CSHL (in accordance with terms to be approved by the Committee of the SCU) as of 1 January 2011 - with the present members of the SCU being entitled to become members of CSHL and the Committee Members becoming the initial directors of CSHL and holding office until the first AGM of CSHL; and thereafter to dissolve the SCU."
