The Caledonian Highlanders host the Western Warriors at Mannofield this Sunday (12 June) in the first Twenty20 double-headers of this year’s Regional Series. The new format sees two T20 matches played on the same day, with the first game starting at 12 noon and the second at 3.30pm.
Both sides remain unbeaten in 2011, with each team having defeated the Eastern Knights in the 40-over format, the reverse fixture having been washed out at Uddinston a fortnight ago.
The champion Highlanders welcome back Ryan Watson for this weekend’s matches, while the Warriors coach Tony Judd welcomes back Moneeb Iqbal, and has also called up hard-hitting Drumpellier batsman Graeme McLaren to the squad for the trip north.
