Biography
Neil was Born in Cape Town, South Africa, and played for Boland before moving to Warwickshire in 2001.
He had completed a 1,000 first class runs for Warwickshire by 2005. In 2008 he played for Middlesex as part of a loan deal.
In 2012 he received the Nat West Professional Cricketers Association Player of the Year Award.
After the 2012 season he announced that he would like to play for Scotland after qualifying through UK residency and a Scottish mother.
His Warwickshire team mates immediately christened him McCarter!
