Cricket Scotland today announced the venues and dates for the ICC Intercontinental Cup and World Cricket League fixtures against Namibia in June 2017.

The four-day Intercontinental Cup fixture will take place at New Cambusdoon, Ayr, will commence on Tuesday 6th June.

Scotland currently sit in sixth position in the Intercontinental Cup and will conclude their campaign with matches against Ireland and Papua New Guinea later in the year.

The two World Cricket League matches against Namibia will be held at the Grange Cricket Club on Sunday 11th and Tuesday 13th June.

Scotland coach Grant Bradburn said, “2017 is a critical year for the Scotland men’s team. As the I-Cup and WCL series culminate at the end of the year. Success in 2017 will present real opportunities for Scotland to advance into a higher level of ICC fixtures and funding.

With three I-Cup series scheduled and six WCL fixtures to play, this has given us a fantastic bank of fixtures to build an exciting 2017 schedule.”
