The 2013 European Coach Awards
The European Coach Awards are a way of saying thank you to coaches who have made a significant contribution to the support and development of players within Europe.
As a new scheme- in its second year- to recognise and reward cricket coaches across the continent.
There are currently over 5000 coaches within Europe; 920 coaches received some form of formal or informal coach education via the ICC Europe Regional Support Programme during 2012.
So if you are a coach or know of a coach who deserves to be recognised please take the time to make a nomination by following instructions by the corresponding link below.
For 2013 there are three coach awards:
-Coach of the Year
-Young Coach of the Year (25 or under)
The winners of the Coach of the Year and Outstanding Contribution will be invited to ICC Europe's Presidents' Day at ICC European Division 1. In conjunction with Cricket Factory The Young Coach of the year will win a Cricket Factory skills set and support from them to integrate the equipment with their coaching.
Nomination Process for 2013:
-All in-country nominations need to be sent to the Country Coach Representative.
-The Country Organisation will complete a selection process and then nominate their country nomination winners to ICC Europe.
-Deadline for in-country nominations: 22 March 2013
-Country nomination winners to ICC Europe before: 12 April 2013
