Pro Keith Dabengwa produced a stunning bowling display to inspire Ferguslie to pull off shock Scottish Cup triumph over old rivals Uddingston.

The Lanarshire side were skittled for only 53 on their own track after failing to find an answer to Dabengwa’s accuracy.

He grabbed four wickets for seven runs in nine overs, five of which were maidens, with no home batsman able to score more than 10.

Ferguslie made short work of completing the win to claim a quarter final slot.

East Kilbride put the cap on a memorable weekend with an equally emphatic 10-wicket success at the hands of Kelburne at Torrance House.

There was no way back for the visitors following their dismissal for 85, Harmanjit Singh ending on 45 not out in EK’s clinical reply.

It was also one-way traffic in favour of Clydesdale, who snuffed out the challenge of Renfrew for the second time in 24 hours.
