Coetzer ruled out of Australia ODI

30 Aug

Cricket Scotland has announced that captain Kyle Coetzer has been ruled out of the One Day International against Australia at the Grange on Tuesday due to a wrist injury.

He has unfortunately failed to recover from a ligament injury sustained during Northants semi-final of the Friends Life t20 competition earlier in the season, an injury that subsequently kept him out of the final.

A replacement is still to be named, but Preston Mommsen will now take charge of the Scotland team for the match against the Australians.

Any participation in the forthcoming WCL matches against Ireland will be determined in due course.
