Development squad to face Durham Academy
The Scotland Development squad to face Durham Academy at Uddingston CC this week has been announced.
The teams will contest a two-day fixture starting tomorrow before a 50 over contest on Thursday (19 May).
Tom Bruce is a new addition to the set-up. The 24-year-old top order batsman has previously represented Central Districts and has a First Class average of 45.92 from his 17 matches, including a Plunket Shield century to his name.
Michael Jones has been previously represented North of England U17s and plays for Ormskirk as an opening batsman.
Both players become eligible to represent Scotland through parentage with these fixtures being an excellent chance for the selectors to see how they perform in Scottish conditions.
Also selected is previous U19 starlets Harris Carnegie, Harris Aslam, Mark Watt, Owais Shah, Ben Wilkinson who represented Scotland at the ICC U19 World Cup in Bangladesh in January & February 2016.
Scotland capped players Craig Wallace and Mark Watt are also named in the squad.

Play starts at 11am start on all 3 days and entry is free
