LiveSport Pro Series

Game 3 of this year’s LiveSport Pro 50 Series takes place at Forthill, Broughty Ferry this Sunday, with the Highlanders desperate to avenge their defeat by the Reivers at Ayr last month.

The Highlanders have picked a familiar 12 man squad and will be looking to in-form batters Ewan Chalmers and Hamish Gardiner to provide more impetus in the batting department.

Also available for the Highlanders are Saltire-duo Gordon Drummond and Calvin Burnett, who are expected to spearhead the bowling attack.

The Reivers will be looking to build on the solid performance which gave them a 1-0 lead series at New Cambusdoon. Their 13 man squad has been bolstered by youth and includes teenagers Andrew Umeed, back from exam leave and a recent spell at Warwickshire.

Youngster Niall Alexander will be excited about getting his first call up after some promising league form for Dumfries. There is also a spot for Ferguslie’s Michael English who will be looking to continue his scoring run after a promising debut at Ayr.Pro Series Logo
