James Foster to work with Scotland squad
Cricket Scotland have today announced that James Foster will work as a specialist coach with the Scotland national team for the up-coming series with Hong Kong at the Grange.
The former England and current gloveman will lend a hand to coach Grant Bradburn and his squad as they contest the Braidwood Cup for the first time on Scottish soil.
Foster, who has over 13,000 First Class runs to his name, represented his country in 7 test matches and 11 ODIs and has been widely regarded as one of the best wicket-keepers in English cricket for more than a decade.
On the news Cricket Scotland Performance Director Andy Tennant said, “We are very much looking forward to having James in the camp for the Hong Kong games. He brings a wealth of experience, along with the perspective from a current high-quality player who is also a well-respected emerging performance coach.”
