05 Nov

It has been announced that Scotland cricketer Calum MacLeod has signed a two year deal with Durham County Cricket Club.

The top-order batsman has had an impressive first season at the county, after starring for the Jets in the Natwest T20 campaign, before and forcing his way into their County Championship team.

His domestic season culminated with Durham, as they lifted the Royal London One Day Cup at Lord’s.

It caps off a day to remember for MacLeod who was short-listed for the ICC Associate Player of the Year after an outstanding season with his country.

Cricket Scotland Performance Director Andy Tennant said, “We’re delighted that Calum has managed to secure a county contract with Durham. We are looking forward to working with Jon Lewis and his staff in progressing Calum's development as an international and First Class cricketer.”
