Pro Series Week Four Preview

24 May

The Highlanders will be looking to make it a third double victory in a row as they travel to Kampong to take on the Hurricanes, and the Reivers will be looking to find form as they host the Seafarers at Titwood. Both Scottish teams have been heading in opposite directions in recent weeks with the Highlanders winning four in a row, while the Reivers struggled away in Rotterdam last week.

Reivers call up Calum MacLeod who is now available after being away with Durham and Craig Young from Poloc. MacLeod is hot on form, after shooting 80 not out for the Durham Jets in the Natwest T20 Blast, and will certainly be the one to watch in week four. After some decent induvidial performances from the likes of Beveridge and Sharif, the Reivers will be look to pull together as a team to perform better with the bat and post some good totals at the Clydesdale ground.

The Highlanders team is unchanged, and they will be looking to capitalise on team spirit centred around some great performances with the bat last week from Munsey, Farrell and Goudie. At times they looked well ahead of the Hurricanes, and although the T20 remained close, the 50 over game was never a contest as the Highlanders won by 129 runs.

The T20s start on Sunday at 3.30pm, while the 50 overs game will be on Monday at 10.30am. Follow @NorthSeaPS on twitter for updates and check back here on Cricket Scotland for the match reports.
