01 Aug

Scotland ‘A’ are back on the road this week with a three-day fixture against Lancashire 2XI at Blackpool CC, starting tomorrow (2-4 August).

With the four-day game against the UAE commencing in Aberdeen next Tuesday (9-12 August) in the Intercontinental Cup, this fixture will allow a mixture of experience and youth to showcase their skills in front of the coaching staff.

There are a few changes to the squad who defeated Gloucestershire 2XI last week, with Freddie Coleman, George Munsey and Mitchell Rao coming into the squad.

Gavin Main will replace Ali Evans who will rest after picking up a minor side-strain in last week’s encounter.

Scotland ‘A’ Squad: Craig Wallace (capt & wk) Kyle Coetzer, Freddie Coleman, Richie Berrington, Michael English, Gavin Main, Preston Mommsen, George Munsey, Adrian Neill, Mitchell Rao, Elliot Ruthven, Mark Watt.
