Scotland A travel to Lancashire

The Scotland ‘A’ head down to Alderly Edge CC for their three day match against Lancashire 2XI starting tomorrow (28-30 August) from 11am.

A strong Scotland ‘A’ squad includes ten players who have already represented Scotland at international level.

The two remaining places go to Scotland U19 captain Ross McLean and his youth level teammate Mark Watt who both contributed in aiding the U19 squad to reach the 2014 World Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates.

Safyaan Sharif continues his return to full fitness, while Michael Leask will look to continue to impress after securing the Man of the Match award at the LiveSport.co.uk Pro 50 fixture in Aberdeen yesterday.

Gordon Goudie, Calvin Burnett and Ross McLean will also be in good spirits following their respective domestic league and cup success at the weekend.  

The squad to face Australia in next Tuesday’s One Day International at the Grange will be announced tomorrow.
