Scotland v England Live On Sky

08 Apr

Sky Sports has today announced that the Scotland v England Royal London One Day International on May 9th will be broadcast live from Mannofield.

The fixture will again help raise the ever-growing profile of cricket in Scotland, whilst offering those who are not able to attend the opportunity to watch the eagerly anticipated fixture.

The game will be England’s first fixture since losing to associate members, the Netherlands, in the recent T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, with Scotland’s last fixture resulting in a win against the United Arab Emirates to book their place in the 2015 World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.

Cricket Scotland CEO Roddy Smith said, “It’s going to be a fantastic occasion on May 9th, and we are delighted to be welcoming the Sky team to Aberdeenshire Cricket Club.

With Scotland eager to build on their successful World Cup qualifying campaign in New Zealand earlier in the year, this marquee fixture provides the team with an ideal opportunity to challenge for their first One Day International victory over a Full Member live on TV.”
