Scotland v England - Tickets On Sale Now!

16 Jan

Tickets for the One Day International between Scotland and England in Aberdeen have gone on sale today from the TicketWolf website.

The showpiece international will take place at Mannofield on 9th May 2014, with tickets priced at £35 for adults and £27 for concessions, and are now on sale through the Ticket Wolf website.

The Mannofield ground, the world’s most northern ODI venue, last hosted the Scotland v Kenya series in 2013, and the well supported fixtures showed there is a deep passion for the game in the area.

Scotland first played a full ODI against an England team in 2008, in a rain reduced game to 47 overs, Scotland made 156-9, before the match was completely washed out with England 10-0 after 2.3 overs.  In 2010, Scotland made 211, while England made 213-3 with plenty of time to spare. The 2008 and 2010 games were both played at Grange in Edinburgh.

On the ticket announcement Roddy Smith Cricket Scotland CEO added, ‘’We are delighted to be bringing the season’s big match to Aberdeen.  The Mannofield ground has always been one of our premier facilities and we have been keen to bring a major game north for some time.

With the support of Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen Cricket Club and The Parkmead Group, our major sponsor, it will be a fantastic day out and a great opportunity for the Aberdonian public to watch high quality international cricket on their doorstep.
