Scotland veterans set to face Lancashire over 50s

Scotland veterans are set to face Lancashire over 50s in Perth to celebrate the first win against county opposition on Wednesday May 11th. 

This squad contains six of the original teams that defeated Lancashire 30 years ago next week on the same ground.  The 1986 re-enactment will be to celebrate the famous 86` victory and help promote veterans cricket nationwide.

Former Scotland and Sussex cricketer and International goalkeeper Andy Goram will feature for the home side. 

The following players have been selected to play Lancashire Over 50s on Wednesday May 11th, North Inch, Perth.  1:30pm start. 


Scotland:
Richard Swan (capt), Iain Philip, Bruce Russell, Neil Burnett, Andy Goram, Chris Plomer, Willie Donald, Bob McFarlane, Trevor Brown, Alan Stevenson, David Armstrong, Peter Drummond, Michael Watson 

Lancashire: John Punchard (capt), Glenn Bullock, Chris Dearden, Mike Ingham, Keith Roscoe, Kevan du Feu, MarkFallon,, Phil Deakin, Phil Sutcliffe, Chris Lord , Alan Whiston (wkt).
