Scotwatch - Coetzer meets MacLeod
A number of Scots are involved in the next round of Natwest T20 Blast matches over the next few days.
Calum MacLeod will come up against his Scotland captain, Kyle Coetzer, who will lead last year’s T20 champions against Paul Collingwood’s Durham.
MacLeod enters the contest on the back of a century for Durham’s second eleven, as he looks to push for a place in the four day side.
Matt Machan is in the Sussex squad preparing to take on Middlesex in the same competition, along with former Saltire Yasir Arafat who returned to Scotland last week for a Scottish Pakistani XI.
Scotland batsman/keeper Matthew Cross is continuing his good form with the bat and gloves down in Nottinghamshire.
Cross took five catches in an innings for Notts during their 2XI Championship match against Derbyshire, and followed that up by hitting a century in a T20 Cup match, stroking 103 off just 53 balls, including 12 fours and 5 sixes.
In the same Derbyshire fixture last season he took seven catches in one innings. Matt also took five catches when Scotland beat the MCC in their very tight match at Lord's.
