Second day of I-Cup washed out
Scotland and Hong Kong’s frustration with the weather continued with the second scheduled day of Intercontinental Cup action washed away at Mission Road.
With both teams desperate to claim the points on offer the steady drizzle, turning to heavy rain showers has ensured that the two captains haven’t even been able to get out to toss the coin.
The players will return to the ground tomorrow morning hoping for better news and a scheduled 9am start to attempt to redeem some of the overs lost.
Scotland’s Richie Berrington said, “It’s pretty frustrating but not much we can do at the moment.”
