Squads for the Three Day decider announced

19 Aug

The two squads for the three day fixture between the Reivers and the Highlanders, starting tomorrow, has been announced.

Highlanders’ Coach Neil MacRae has named three of Scotland’s victorious World Cup Qualifier team in their squad of 13, while the Warriors also have U19 star Michael English in their ranks as Richie Berrington leads his team into the match.

With the first match at Goldenacre all but washed out and resulting in a tame draw, this week’s game will decide the winner of the three day LiveSport.co.uk Pro series between Scotland’s two new Pro Teams.

The Highlanders will be desperate for revenge over the Reivers in the longer format, as the men from the South and West took an unassailable 2-0 lead to secure the Livesport.co.uk Pro50 Trophy with a hard fought victory in a tense and feisty affair at the Grange in their previous fixture.

The three day match which will be staged at New Williamfield, Stirling on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with play commencing at 11am each day and free admission.
