STK Cricket Camps 2016
STK Cricket are running their annual Autumn Coaching Camp at the National Cricket Academy, MES between Monday 17th and Friday 21st October 2016 between 9am and 5pm.
This is their most technical camp of the year and is an excellent opportunity to improve batting, bowling, fielding and keeping techniques without the complication of games disrupting any technical changes made. For those players who have representative trials and/or winter programmes commencing in the latter part of 2016 the camp is an excellent opportunity to get back into the swing of things after a couple of months without picking up a bat or ball. The camp will include a mix of technical skill sessions and opportunities to try these skills out in competitive situations and will finish with a three team tri-series on the final day. For the first time on an autumn camp players will be able to view and analyse footage of themselves from both the start and the end of the week so they can see where they’ve improved and where they still have more work to do over the rest of the winter.
STK Cricket are delighted to welcome ex-Scotland fast bowler Dewald Nel onto the coaching team for the duration of the camp. Dewald represented Scotland 110 times including 19 one day internationals. He also played county cricket for Worcestershire and Kent for whom he took career best bowling figures of 6-62 against Yorkshire in the English County Championship in 2010. Dewald will spend the majority of his time on the camp working with the seam bowlers. The price of the camp is £45 per day or £200 for the full week. For an extra cost of £25 a player profile can be provided for those attending the full week.
