From Cricket Media

Tariq Mehmood is celebrating yesterday after producing one of the most remarkable scoring feats in Scottish cricket history.

The Strathclyde player hammered an unbeaten and double-quick 236 to inspire them to victory over Dumfries-based Kingholm at Old Anniesland.

Mehmood made his tally from only 137 balls and the spectacular innings featured five sixes and 32 fours.

His effort propelled Strathclyde to 403 for two in their 45 overs, before they bowled out Kingholm for 200, which itself would normally be regarded as a good score in that type of match.
