U17s host Ireland in Ayr

U17 TeamThe Scotland U17 squad will take on rivals Ireland in Ayr tomorrow for two 50 over and a T20 match in the ICC Europe Challenge series. 

Andrew Umeed, who scored a century against NUCC last week, will captain the side has also been named in the Scotland U19 squad taking part in the ICC European Qualifying tournament in August. 

Mark Watt and William Edwards are two other members of the U17 squad included in the U19 squad. 

Ryan Brown has been enjoying some good form with bat and ball recently and will be looking to help the squad improve on their performances in Holland recently.

Ben Wilkinson will also be hoping to build on his maiden century against Durham, while Scotland also has two spinners, in Hamza Tahir and Haris Aslam, at their disposal. 

Play begins at 11am each day at New Cambusdoon in Ayr.
