Willie Donald moves on
As a result of Malcolm Cannon's arrival on 1 September as the new permanent Chief Executive of Cricket Scotland, Willie Donald steps down today as interim Chief Executive.
Willie has made a huge contribution in his five months in charge by providing leadership and stability to the organisation, following a period of uncertainty, as well as addressing some important issues requiring urgent attention. Equally he has put together a compelling draft strategy for the next few years on which Malcolm will build and then implement. He will be working with Malcolm over the next few weeks to achieve a smooth handover.
Cricket in Scotland owes a deep debt of gratitude to Willie for what he has done and I am sure he will continue to be involved in future years.
