Women's squad prepare for ICC Europe Div 1

Cricket Scotland have named a squad of 13 for the Women’s European Division 1 Tournament taking place at Rugby School from the 11th – 18th August.  

The squad will play six T20 games, with three against Ireland and three against Holland.  The Scottish squad have already had a busy summer, with games in the ECB competitions Royal London Women’s One Day Championship and the NatWest T20 competition. 

ICC Europe is once again partnering with QuipuTV, linking with Twitter, video of wickets will be shared on selected matches throughout play, as well as a highlights package at the end of selected day’s play on ICC Europe TV. Follow @icc_europe using the hashtag #ICCEURWomen 

CricHQ live scoring will again be available for every match at Pepsi ICC Europe Women’s Division 1 on www.icc-europe.org and features all fixtures and statistics. 

After the announcement of the squad, coach Kari Anderson said, “We are looking forward to the challenge that the European Championships will bring us.  

The girls have trained hard and played well in both the 50 and 20 over competitions we have played in, so we will be looking to continue that good run.  There is no doubt this competition will provide us with a real test and its one we are all relishing”.
