Scotland took part in the 2010 World Twenty20 Championship qualifier in Dubai/Abu Dhabi in February 2010. Two of the eight participating countries qualified for the main event in the Caribbean. Before the qualifier, Scotland, Kenya and Uganda played a tri-series in Nairobi, details shown below.

  • 30 January: Kenya defeated Uganda by eight wickets [scorecard]
  • 31 January: Scotland 109-8 defeated Uganda 109 all out after one-over eliminator. [scorecard]
  • 1 February: Kenya defeated Scotland by ten wickets [scorecard]
  • 2 February: Kenya defeated Uganda by fourteen runs [scorecard]
  • 3 February: Scotland defeated Uganda by 56 runs [scorecard]
  • 4 February: Kenya defeated Scotland by ten wickets [scorecard]
