The draw for the Citylets Scottish Cup has been made and has produced some interesting ties. Holders Carlton begin their defence of the Cup with a tricky away tie at Drumpellier while last year’s beaten finalists, Watsonian, have a tough home tie against fellow Eastern Premiership side Forfarshire.
There are some intriguing West v East contests with the 2017 Club Champions, Prestwick travelling to Arbroath and past winners Clydesdale away to Aberdeenshire. In the West, Glasgow Accies visit near neighbours GHK and Weirs make the short journey to Renfrew. The winners of the preliminary tie between Edinburgh and Meigle are rewarded with a home tie against West of Scotland.
The final on 19 August 2018 will be held at Meikleriggs, Paisley, the home of Ferguslie Cricket Club.
