The Competitions Management Committee has today clarified proceedings and arrangements for the Men’s 10k Challenge Cup after finalists Forres St Lawrence were disqualified for fielding two ineligible players in the first round of the competition.
After the situation had come to light, it was decided to offer the opportunity to the three Clubs affected – Leith FAB, Perth Doo’cot and Marchmont – to play-off against each other. All three have accepted the invitation.
Therefore, the following matches will take place to determine a finalist to face Falkland at Hamilton Crescent on the 19th of August.
Fixtures:
5th August, Leith FAB v Marchmont
12th August, winner v Perth Doo’cot
