Scotland ‘A’ take on Northants/Kent 2XI

Scotland ‘A’ travel down to the County Ground Northampton for their final three-day game of the season against Northants/Kent 2’s, starting on 12th September.

Craig Wallace has been selected to lead the side south and will have Scotland wicket-keeper Matthew Cross at his disposal after his season on the MCCU Programme.

Tom Sole, currently with Northants, will play for the traveling Scots alongside seven fully capped players in the squad with one eye on the Intercontinental Cup clash

Mitchell Rao will be on a high after helping Prestwick to the Club Championship play-off last weekend and will also be joined by Scotland U19 stars Ihtisham Malik and Owais Shah.

The team will be coached by Grant Bradburn and Simon Smith.

Squad in full: Craig Wallace (c), Michael Jones, George Munsey, Owais Shah, Calum MacLeod, Matthew Cross, Safyaan Sharif, Tom Sole, James Dickinson*, Mitchell Rao, Alasdair Evans, Ihtisham Malik.

*James Dickinson replaces Mark Watt in the squad due to a knee injury.
