PATHWAYS STRUCTURE REALIGNED

Cricket Scotland is pleased to announce a realignment of the Pathway structure, to be led by Keegan Russell (Boys) and Kari Carswell (Girls).

The move follows Gordon Drummond’s switch from his role as Head of Pathways to become Assistant Coach of the senior Men’s squad. Gordon will retain the role of Coach Education Lead as part of his new remit.

Keegan and Kari will inherit overall oversight of the Boys and Girls Pathways, whilst continuing in their roles as Head Coaches of the Men’s and Women’s U19 squads respectively.part of his new remit.

“With Gordon now having fully transitioned into his new role of Men’s Assistant Coach, we have taken the opportunity to change the Pathway setup in order to make sure we are providing the best possible specialist provision for boys and girls within Scottish cricket.

“Kari and Keegan are both very well placed to take these pathways forward. As much as they will each be respectively leading in those areas, there will also be a huge amount of collaboration taking place between them both as well as working upwards to the senior men’s and women’s coaching teams.

“Both Keegan and Kari have made hugely significant impacts in their roles, and we expect that in their newly defined positions they will further reinforce the quality and provision of the delivery and engagement across Scottish cricket’s player pathway.”
