NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR 2026 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

The Hall of Fame Appointment Panel is pleased to announce the opening of the public nominations process for 2026 for the Cricket Scotland Hall of Fame.
For the first time, the Scottish cricket community are invited to propose eligible candidates to be considered by the Appointment Panel for induction. The window for nominations is now open and will close on Friday 26 June.
Candidates can be proposed via the applications process which is accessible via the link below. This link is also available on the Hall of Fame webpage of the Cricket Scotland website, which can be accessed HERE.
Cricket Scotland Hall Of Fame 2026 Nominations Process
As per the updated Hall of Fame Appointment Panel Terms of Reference, the criteria for inductees has been widened for 2026. The Terms of Reference can viewed HERE.
Omar Henry, Cricket Scotland President and Chair of the Hall of Fame Panel, said:
“I’m pleased to announce the start of this year’s nominations process for the Hall of Fame. The Panel members are excited about this process, and we’re looking forward to receiving the public nominations and sitting down to review the candidates.
“The new Appointment Panel was brought together at the end of last year, and we are unanimous in the belief that the views of the cricket community are hugely important in this process.
“To be inducted into the Hall of Fame is a huge honour, and I know there are many fantastic people within Scottish cricket who have served our game with distinction over the years who are worthy of nomination.”
