Scotland will enter the ICC Women's T20 World Cup on a high following a rain-affected 41-run DLS win over Pakistan.

Kathryn Bryce was the star for Scotland, blasting a stunning 43-ball 94 that contained 11 fours and three sixes as she powered her side to 191-5.

Darcey Carter helped get the Scots off to a superb start as she struck 45 from 36 deliveries, but Pakistan struck back through the middle overs, as Scotland slid from 95-1 to 113-4.

That brought Kathryn Bryce and Priyanaz Chatterji together in the 15th over, with the pair combinin to add an unbroken 78 in just 34 deliveries - Bryce going from her 50 to 94 in just 15 deliveries, including five consecutive boundaries as she took an Ayesha Zafar over for 23.

In response, Pakistan's pursuit of 192 never got going, as Rachel Slater struck twice to dismiss Gull Feroza (7) and Saira Jabeen (1), either side of Katherine Fraser removing Zafar (1), as Pakistan slid to 28-3.

Kathryn Bryce and Chloe Abel also struck as Scotland took firm control of the game, with Pakistan 62-5 after nine overs, and the required rate climbing above 11.

It was at that point that the rain intervened, bringing an early end to proceedings with Pakistan 41 runs behind the DLS par.

Scotland get their World Cup campaign underway on Saturday morning against Ireland at Old Trafford, and supporters can watch free-to-air on Sky Sports Mix.
