SCOTLAND EASE TO VICTORY OVER NAMIBIA
Scotland made it four consecutive victories in the Emerging Nations Trophy with a comfortable seven-wicket victory against Namibia.
Scotland's spinners set the game up for their side, as Katherine Fraser (3-9) and Abtaha Maqsood (3-20) tore through Namibia as they bowled their opponents out for 74.
It took Scotland less than nine overs to reach their target, Sarah Bryce blasting an unbeaten 36, from just 17 deliveries, before Megan McColl sealed the win in style with a huge six over the legside.
Katherine Fraser, who become the second Scotland bowler to reach 50 wickets in Women's T20Is, said: "I felt like I was in pretty good rhythm, it was turning out there so that always helps me, but I was having a lot of fun.
"It means a lot (to get to 50 T20I wickets), I think in particular joining Abtaha, who I idolized for a long time, she's someone I really looked up to as I moved through the ranks, so to join her at that milestone is really nice."
Scotland were on top from the off with the ball, as Rachel Slater and Mollie Parker both struck in their opening overs - and when Fraser had taken three wickets in two overs, Namibia had slid to 29-5 in the seventh over.
Mekelaye Mwatile offered some resistance (15*), but wickets continued to fall around her as Maqsood knocked over the lower order to bowl Namibia out for 74 inside 17 overs.
Ailsa Lister (7) and Ellen Watson (1) both fell cheaply in response, but Bryce struck her first ball for four and never looked back, as she crunched a 17-ball 36, finding the boundary on seven occasions.
Darcey Carter (21) did lose her wicket for the first time in the Emerging Nations Trophy - not before passing 200 runs for the tournament - and by that point had added 49 alongside Bryce to help Scotland to their target in quick fashion.
