Work at Cricket Scotland

Cricket Scotland is the governing body for the game at both performance and participation levels throughout Scotland. Our vision is to inspire Scotland to choose cricket and we do that by supporting the different forms of the game within communities, schools and at over 130 clubs throughout the country.

Everyone deserves to find a welcome within the cricketing community and building a stronger, fairer future for the sport is a key area of focus for Cricket Scotland. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and communities to ensure that Cricket Scotland best represents those who are passionate about the game.

We particularly encourage applications from women, disabled people and those from ethnically and culturally diverse communities – all of whom are currently under-represented within Cricket Scotland.

If you would like to discuss any reasonable adjustments or requirements during the process please state this in your application

Cricket Scotland Vacancies

Conduct in Sport Panel

Cricket Scotland is interested to hear from people keen to join a new Conduct In Sport Panel (CISP), as it continues its response to the recent independent review into racism in Scottish cricket.

CISP will be the independent review panel that will oversee the investigation of concerns of conduct in cricket throughout Scotland.  it is anticipated that 20 volunteer members from the community will be appointed. CISP will initially focus on cases raised as a result of the Changing The Boundaries report but will then remain as a crucial part of governance for Cricket Scotland.

Appointments to CISP will be made by the Board of Cricket Scotland for an initial 12-month period.

Anyone who feels they have skills or experience to bring to CISP are encouraged to apply, particularly those with EDI expertise, lived experience, sports administration, former cricketers, safeguarding experience, senior legal and HR professionals.  A wide range of people and experiences will ensure just and fair outcomes.

Casual Coach Roles

Cricket Scotland is keen to grow a pool of casual coaches for our community programmes around the country.

We have opportunities within our disability, Wicketz and Chance to Shine programmes which offer a variety of hours and a competitive hourly rate of pay.
