Nominate your club

For 2020, nominations are now closed.

Communication Award

This award will be presented to a club who has implemented a good communications campaign or strategy to interact with their members and the wider cricketing community. This could be via a club website, social media platforms or use of team communication apps. Have you revamped your club communications in 2019? We want to hear from you!

The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award

This award will be presented to a club that has; demonstrated an EDI approach to growing club membership, interacted with new groups or perhaps internally diversified their structures or membership to enhance their club culture. This could have been done by implementing a CS initiative (such as CricHIIT or Allstars) or a community engagement initiative that’s helped your club strive for better inclusivity.

Volunteer of the Year

It’s no secret that volunteers are the unsung heroes of the sports world, often committing hours of work and commitment to a variety of tasks, all for the love of our sport. Cricket Scotland would like to recognise someone who has given a significant voluntary contribution to their club in any area – be it coaching, officiating, club committee duties, or fundraising for example.

Young Volunteer of the Year (under 25)

In addition to the above, Cricket Scotland have decided to award a Young Volunteer of the Year too  in recognition of ensuring clubs encourage the ‘next generation’ to get involved and contribute to their own clubs from a young age.

Ground & Facilities Award

This award will be presented to the club that has worked hard to develop and improve their facilities overall – perhaps creating social hubs within their local area, linking up with other social/sports groups to maximise their ground usage, or building and enhancing existing structures and facilities for members & players to enjoy.

Tickets for the event are now sold out.
