The agreement, which begins with immediate effect, will see HIGH5 become Cricket Scotland’s official nutrition partner.

Commenting on the partnership, Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach Simon Smith said, “We are delighted that HIGH5 will be fuelling and hydrating our athletes as we strive to continue to improve our standing in the world game, with our men’s and women’s teams once again competing on the global stage in 2017.

“We look forward to working closely with the team at HIGH5 – their knowledge and experience, along with their range of high quality products, will help us to ensure we provide our cricketers with the best possible support to perform at the highest level.”

James Worley, Sponsorship Coordinator at HIGH5 added: “HIGH5 are delighted to partner with Cricket Scotland for 2017. Their teams have already used our products to great success so it felt natural to partner with them. Cricket Scotland will have access to our full range of HIGH5 products and will also play an integral part in helping us develop new products.”

The first opportunity for the Scotland men’s team to benefit from the partnership with HIGH5 was at the Desert T20 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while the women’s squad will get their first taste when they head to Colombo for the ICC Women’s World Cup Global Qualifier, where they open their campaign with a Pool B clash with Zimbabwe on Sunday 5th February.
