On behalf of The Cricket Society
The West of Scotland branch of The Cricket Society is holding its Annual Dinner at Titwood, home of Clydesdale Cricket Club, on Monday 9th March 2020 and is once again extending an open invitation to all cricket-lovers to join them for an excellent evening’s entertainment.
This year’s guest speaker is Phillip DeFreitas (44 Test and 103 ODI caps for England), whose First Class career started in 1985 at Leicestershire and took him to Lancashire and Derbyshire (and a couple of seasons for Boland in South Africa) before ending up again at Leicestershire whom he captained in 2003 and for part of 2004 before retiring at the end of the 2005 season.
If you think you might enjoy an evening of good food (three courses and coffee), excellent company and an eminent after dinner speaker, reserve your place (early booking appreciated but no later than Monday 2nd March), at a cost of £33 per head, by contacting Ewen McConville, Secretary, The Cricket Society of Scotland.
