Bob McFarlane

Bob has been a Director with Cricket Scotland since 2012. He was elected to the Board following two very successful years as President of Cricket Scotland 2010-2012 which Bob regards as the happiest two years of his cricketing career.

Bob is an ardent follower of the National side and since the start of his involvement with CS he has clocked up thousands of miles supporting them usually accompanied by his Cricket loving daughters Claire and Lynsay and when occasion permits his long-suffering Cricket widow wife Mary Bob is currently Chair of the Domestic Officials Committee, the East League Premier Division, he sits on the Domestic Cricket Committee and the CS Disciplinary and Appeals Panel.

He is also an active member of the Strathmore and Perthshire Cricket Union as well as being President and Groundsman at his beloved home club of Rossie Priory.

Bob is also a keen curler and member of his local Bowling Club He is now retired from full time employment having been a Civil Servant for 40 years.
