Kim Neill receives Lifetime Achievement award from Highlife Highland and sportscotland

Kim Neill has received a Lifetime Achievement for Coaching award from Highlife Highland and sportscotland, thanks to her incredible commitment to growing the game in Scotland through junior and disability cricket.

Kim, based in the Highlands, has inspired over 160 participants to #ChooseCricket in the North with Cricket4All, a disability cricket programme that has secured funding from National Lottery Community Funds to provide softball cricket equipment and training to 16 schools.

Speaking to the Press and Journal, Kim said: “I want to thank those who nominated me for the award and it has been a great honour to be given this accolade.”

Kim also received the award due to her work with the Highland and Moray Netball League, being an instrumental part in the development of netball umpires in the region.
