Murgitroyd T20 Update

The four regional qualifying tournament are well underway in this years Murgitroyd T20 which culminates in finals day due to be played on Sunday 4th August.

In the Borders, Gala CC are through to the semi-final (East) after a win versus St Boswells and will play Selkirk on Thursday 20th June.
The second semi-final will see Hawick take on Melrose or Kelso.

The winner of the East qualifying will play the winner of the West round robin featuring Dumfries, St Michaels and Galloway.

Arbroath United and Stonewood Dyce are both through to the semi-finals of the Caledonian Region with wins versus Meigle and Aberdeenshire respectively.

Freuchie will play ASI Gordonians and Falkland will play Forfarshire to earn a place in the Regional Finals Day on Sunday 30th June at Arbroath United CC.

Heriots top the East of Scotland qualifying league (Masterton Trophy) on 7 points after 3 wins in their first 4 games with RHC and Stewarts Melville hot on their heels with 5 and 4 points respectively. Fourth placed Carlton remain unbeaten on 3 points after only 2 games.

In the West of Scotland, the four quarter-finals for the Rowan Cup are due to be played on 13th June featuring CaleroTech Kelburne v Clydesdale, Claims Team Weirs v Poloc, Prestwick v East Kilbride and Tunnocks Uddingston versus Ferguslie.

The semi-finals are due to be played on 27th June with the final at Shawholm on 11th July.

The winners of all four regional events will contest for the Murgitroyd Trophy on Sunday 4th August.
