In line with their strategic plan, Cricket Scotland announces three new vacancies.
1 National Women’s Head Coach
The National Women’s Head coach role will lead and coach the two senior women’s squads and performance academy group in a full-time role. The position will also manage all coaching, managerial and sport science staff involved in these programmes in conjunction with the High-Performance Manager and Performance Pathway Manager.
2 Head of Marketing & Communications
This newly created role will lead the growth of Cricket Scotland’s engagement with the sports media, sponsors, corporate partners, members and the Scottish cricketing community.
The position will assist the CEO and CS leadership team in growing the Cricket Scotland brand and raising the profile of the sport to achieve our long term goal of making cricket a mainstream sport within Scotland.
3 Men’s Assistant Coach/National Fast Bowling Lead
The Assistant Head Coach and National Bowling Lead will be responsible for supporting the National Men’s Head Coach in the preparation, development and performance of the senior men’s performance squad.
They will also assist the development of Cricket Scotland’s Talent Pathway fast bowlers within the male and female player development programmes. This may include, but is not limited to, Cricket Scotland national youth team players, national academy players and Regional players and will be aimed primarily towards the Cricket Scotland Player Succession Plan.
