While Scotland’s Men battle for World Cup qualification, and Scotland’s Women’s prepare for a Tri-Series against the Netherlands and Thailand, an older generation are also preparing to represent their country this week.
Scotland’s Over 60’s Men’s team take on a strong Wales in two back-to-back internationals, on Thursday July 29 at Greenock and Friday July 30 at Ferguslie.
The matches, which are 45 overs per side, start at 11.00am and entry is free. Both sides would encourage anyone looking to watch some entertaining cricket to come along support the “youngsters”. The two match series is being sponsored by Forty Club Scotland and Scots Airport Travel.
Following this week’s game, the Over 60’s will continue their summer of cricket next month on July 17in Dumfries, against the touring Over 60’s Australia team.
