Women's Squad

Lorna Jack

Bio

Lorna, like most wicket-keepers, is the livewire in the squad and as well as having nifty glove work, she is also an aggressive batter.

She has recently spent time in New Zealand playing Club Cricket and has over 90 caps for her country, making her ECB debut in 2007 and International in 2009. Lorna moved to Stirling County CC 5 years ago where she plays as the wicket keeper in both the men’s and women’s team.

After graduating with a BSc(hons) Sports Coaching degree from the University of the West of Scotland, she decided to take the 15/16 winter season out of cricket to travel across the pond and work for Carnival Cruise Lines. Her return was sudden but meant she could compete for a place in the squad for the summer season, that’s exactly what she did. Having just returned from the World Cup Qualifier in Sri Lanka, Lorna is about to embark on her new career and is excited for the journey ahead.
