Career-best performances from Sarah Bryce and Lorna Jack led Scotland to a third win from four, as they defeated Italy by 117 runs.
Batting first for the first time this tournament, Scotland suffered early setbacks as Maryam Faisal and Kathryn Bryce fell cheaply to leave the Saltires 17-2.
Priyanaz Chatterji and Sarah Bryce rebuilt the innings, adding 43 for the third wicket before Chatterji perished, caught behind by Methnara Rathnayake off the bowling of Chathurika Mahamalage.
That brought Lorna Jack and Bryce together, and the pair looked to take on the Italian spinners, Jack using the sweep to great effectiveness, whilst Bryce cleared the rope on numerous occassions.
Bryce would be the first to 50, reaching a T20I score of 67 and bringing up a stunning 100 partnership before she fell, advancing down the wicket to Sharon Withanage and being stumped.
There would be no let-up for the Italians, Ailsa Lister striking a six off her first ball and striking a brutal 26 from 11 balls before departing, stumped off the bowling of Kumudu Peddrick.
Lorna Jack would go to her highest T20I score as Scotland reach 200-6, Darcey Carter losing her wicket to Peddrick from the final ball.
It was a total that always looked like being beyond Italy, and once Priyanaz Chatterji made the breakthrough in the third over, they run-chase never got going.
Darcey Carter and Niamh Robertson-Jack tied down the Italians, taking 3-11 and 2-17 respectively, and the highlight of the innings came when Chatterji took a stunning one-handed catch over her shoulder to dismiss Dilaisha Nanayakkara off Darcey Carter.
Nayma Sheikh would also finish with impressive figures of 2-10, as Italy were bowled out for 83 in the final over, falling 117 runs of the total posted by Scotland.
