Scotland squad announced for Cricket World Cup League Two

A 14-strong squad has been announced for the first round of Cricket World Cup League Two, to be held in Aberdeen from 14-21 August 2019.

Scotland has today announced the 14-strong squad set to take on Oman and PNG at Mannofield, Aberdeen for Cricket World Cup League Two from 14th to 21st August 2019.

The tournament provides more competitive cricket for Scotland’s men, playing 36 One Day Internationals (ODIs) over two and half years from August 2019 to January 2022, where teams are just two steps away from the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

Kyle Coetzer (c) (Caledonian Highlanders), Richie Berrington (Western Warriors), Matthew Cross (Western Warriors), Alasdair Evans (Eastern Knights), Michael Leask (Caledonian Highlanders), Calum MacLeod (Western Warriors), Gavin Main (Durham, Western Warriors), George Munsey (Eastern Knights), Adrian Neill (Gloucestershire, Caledonian Highlanders), Safyaan Sharif (Caledonian Highlanders ), Thomas Sole (Northamptonshire), Hamza Tahir (Western Warriors), Craig Wallace (Caledonian Highlanders), Mark Watt (Derbyshire, Eastern Knights).

Scotland vs. Oman: 18th August

Scotland vs. PNG: 20th August

All fixtures begin at 11am and are to be played at Mannofield, Aberdeen.
