The ICC has today confirmed that Scotland will host the next ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier, scheduled to take place in August 2024.
Scotland and the Netherlands will face off between August 1-4, at a venue in Scotland still to be determined.
The winners of the three game series will advance to the next ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in early 2025, due to be hosted by Malaysia and Thailand.
The young Scots will try to replicate their success from the previous qualification campaign, when they secured a 3-0 series win over the Dutch to clinch a spot at the inaugural edition of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2023.
At the tournament, Scotland finished fourth in Group D behind India, South Africa and UAE, before defeating USA in their Fourth-Placed playoff match.
