Scotland’s squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s U19 Cricket World Cup recorded a 2-1 series win against United Arab Emirates U19s this week in Dubai.
Playing three 50-over fixtures, Scotland first suffered a narrow 2-wicket defeat at Dubai International Stadium before going on to win the second match by 3-wickets at ICC Academy, followed by a 25-run win at the same venue two days later.
The fixtures formed part of Scotland’s final-stage preparation for the global tournament, with two warm-up matches still to be played in South Africa before the World Cup gets underway on 19th January against Pakistan.
