SCOTLAND WOMEN A TO COMPETE IN FINALS DAY

Scotland Women A will be competing in the Vitality Women’s County T20 Regional Finals Day on Sunday at Bradshaw CC, Bolton.

The Scots finished top of their group thanks to victories over Lancashire and Cumbria at Clydesdale, and have been drawn against Derbyshire in the semi-final. The winner will then face the winner of the first semi-final between Lancashire and Nottinghamshire in the final.

This year’s competition has been hit hard by the weather, with two rounds of action completely washed out, whilst Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are amongst a number of sides who have been unable to play any cricket in the competition so far. They both reached the semi-finals after being drawn at random from those teams who had every game washed out.

The schedule for Sunday is as follows:

1030 – Lancashire Women vs Nottinghamshire Women

1330 – Scotland Women A vs Derbyshire Women

1630 – Final
