After 60 matches and a successful quarter finals day, Cricket Scotland’s Tapeball League reaches it’s climax on Sunday 3rd March at Glasgow Club Springburn.
A vehicle to unite the community and celebrate cricket, diversity and unity, the league has been running throughout the winter and aims to take our community engagement to new audiences. The league looks to develop new relationships where potential synergies exist between local community organisations and BAME communities, in line with our organisation’s three pillars – participation, community engagement and performance.
Cricket Scotland’s vision – Inspiring Scotland to Choose Cricket – is at the forefront of this initiative and we have worked with a number of partners to offer the second year of this community engagement activity.
With over 200 players registered this year and five new teams, our Finals Day will showcase Tapeball Cricket in all it’s glory with Poloc Pythons, Rising Stars, Govanhill and I Passing Smiles in contention for the title.
Finals Day takes place at Glasgow Club Springburn (G21 1BY) from 11am until 3pm.
