‘The Wee Bash’ starts this weekend

Cricket Scotland’s women’s indoor tournaments start this Saturday 28 October at Hutcheson Grammar in Glasgow.

“The Wee Bash” is the new name for the series of 10 social tournaments which is open to 6-a-side teams from clubs, university’s and secondary schools.
The fast, 6 over softball format has proven hugely popular over the past years and this is the reason for extending the programme from 6 to 10 tournaments at four venues across Scotland: Dumfries, Glasgow, Perth and Edinburgh.

Female Participation Manager Nic Wilson said, “the social aspect of the indoor tournaments hugely appealing, it’s a chance to catch up with cricket friends over the winter and it is a great way to introduce new females to the game”.

Below is the 2017-2018 schedule, please contact nicolawilson@cricketscotland.com to be added to The Wee Bash mailing list to enter any of the tournaments.
